Occupational Classes for Special Populations
- Community Partners in Education (CPE)
Community Partners in Education (CPE) classes are offered to students who participate in programming at agencies throughout the Butte County area. CPE classes cover a variety of topics that promote student well-being and participation in the community.
- Healthy Aging & Living (HAL)
Healthy Aging and Living (HAL) classes are currently offered to residents of The Terraces (Westmont of Chico). Classes focus on a variety of topics such as mental and physical well-being, staying sharp and active, and keeping up with technology.
Occupational and Life Skills (OLS) classes are offered to the public at the Chico Center, as well as participants in the Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) Alternative Custody Supervision Program at the Day Reporting Center in Oroville. OLS classes prepare students for employment in the community, and students can earn two levels of certification by completing a series of OLS classes.
